Sunday Night Discipleship
“Equipping the saints for the work of service”
Sunday Nights at Shadowbrook offer deeper study in a variety of areas that will strengthen our congregation for the task of reaching our community for Christ. These studies may include a Bible book study, a Christian Life study, a Parenting/Family study and a Women’s study. Check weekly calendar for schedule changes.
Sunday Night School of Christian Learning Classes:
How to Experience Life-Changing Bible Study. This study is a follow-up study to the fall course, How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth, though you don’t have to have taken that course to be successful in this one. In this course we will study the four steps of Bible study (observation, interpretations, application, evaluation) and how to build what you learn into a life-changing lesson for yourself or others. Class meets on Sundays at 6:00 pm in B204. Led by Mark Lindsay.
A Study in the Book of Psalms. Class meets on Sundays at 6:00 pm in A108. Led by Lee Boswell.
Sunday Night Support Groups:
Single and Parenting: An ongoing support group to encourage single parents. Class meets on Sundays at 6:00 pm in B210. Led by Sarah Boren.
GriefShare: A friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Class meets on Sundays at 6:00 pm in B200. Led by Jeff and Becky Bowie.
Sunday Night Ladies Bible Study:
The Inheritance with Beth Moore. This is a nine session lecture-only series that takes an in-depth look at Inheritance throughout God’s Word. Each session is approximately one hour in length and is based on the key verse: Psalm 16:5-6 “The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.” Sunday evenings through March 8 at 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Class meets in A203/204. Led by Linda DeMaris and Gail Mundy.
This class is also offered at two other weekly sessions. Click here for details.
