Who we are

The Shadowbrook Counseling Center is the biblical counseling ministry of Shadowbrook Church. Established in 2020, this ministry exists to provide Christ-centered care for individuals and families in our community and church who are seeking biblical guidance and help.

We believe that God has kindly provided the necessary resources in Scripture to accurately address the spectrum of human problems caused by sin. We are counselors who are convinced that the truths of Scripture provide answers and aid to our deepest questions and concerns. In every counseling situation, we seek to connect our counselees to the gospel of Jesus Christ because only in the gospel do we find lasting help to change.

What is biblical counseling?

Biblical counseling is a one-on-one style ministry of God’s word in which spiritually mature Christians provide biblical care to troubled people through conversations aimed at navigating the complexities and difficulties of life.
