The Christian life is intrinsically and unavoidably communal. The same Gospel that has united us to God, has also united us to one another as members of his body, living stones of the household of God. But this house is not stagnant. God‘s two-fold purposes for Christians are highlighted clearly and repeatedly in the Bible: to conform us increasingly to the image of his Son, and to propel us for mission.

Shadowbrook's Life Group ministry exists to provide a tangible and practical context in which meaningful relationships are formed in order to facilitate our communal sanctification and mission together. Practically speaking, the Gathering on Sunday mornings, is too large of context to effectively minister to one another and to really know others and be known by others in such a way so as to meaningfully contribute to sanctification and participate in mission together.
