Acts

As followers of Christ, baptism has far more reaching implications than simply a person being submerged in water. By believers participating in baptism, they are revealing their union with Christ, their union with his Church and separation from this world, and their desire to be obedient to what Christ has called them to.

Jesus said to his disciples, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matt. 28:18–20)
