James

The Book of James can be difficult to work through, but the message will prove extremely helpful for Christians who are being shaped by the Holy Spirit and who are walking with the mind of Christ.

James, the younger brother of Jesus, shows his readers that salvation is not earned by our Christian works, but that true faith will will inevitably reveal itself through the life of the Christian by obedience and good works.

We look forward to studying this book together and humbly seeking how God wants his redeemed people to live in a broken world.

This sermon marks the beginning of our series in the book of James which we’re calling “Faith that Works.” Our faith is not is not based on our works, but our work reveals the finished work of Christ which has changed our lives as Christians.
