On this Sunday, we will hear from Hector as he preaches from James 1:12-18. In this passage, we will see that, in hoping in God’s promises (1:12), by trusting his character and wisdom to produce steadfastness in us through various trials (1:13-15), and in being assured that we belong to Jesus, we will become a steadfast people who will receive the glorious and eternal crown of life at the end of all our trials.

This sermon marks the beginning of our series in the book of James which we’re calling “Faith that Works.” Our faith is not is not based on our works, but our work reveals the finished work of Christ which has changed our lives as Christians.
